Back to Middle School
Last night, I had this really long post all typed out, then I clicked something and it disappeared. I was not happy. But oh well. Most of it was about thesis and was probably boring anyway. To clarify what I am doing for my thesis: I am looking at adoption narratives through ethics. That's the best I can do to explain it right now.
In other news, Kira and I went to the Middle School Dance Party at Pomona. It wasn't like any middle school dance I ever went to. Well, I went to junior high, not middle school. Maybe that's why. Or maybe because there was beer. There was never any beer at my junior high dances. Anyway, it was fun. I found a very cute boy for a friend to talk to, and I was proud of myself. I had no idea who he was, but she thought he was cute, so I just went up to him and said, "Weren't you in my accounting class at Scripps?" I have never taken accounting a day in my life. He, of course, just kept talking to me, then I introduced my friend and I was off. Easy as that. Now, why I can't I do that for myself? Eh, oh well.
Funniest thing I have heard outside my window: "Horses have legs, so theoretically, they can wear pants." Seriously, someone just said that outside. I love my school.
Well, I am off to the village to read and eat. Yay. Sorry this post was not very well written. I have used up all my talent on less important things, like homework. Have a great day!
