Sail Away

Woo hoo! Nat and I leave for our crusie in about 13 hours. I can't wait. I have never needed a vacation so badly in all my life. Although, I must say, I have had a great day. Not a great week, mind you, but a great day. I had a meeting with my thesis advisor (Rivka a.k.a. the most amazing woman in the world) and it went very well. She was so supportive and cool, and she is not the type of woman to give out compliments will-nilly. Then I had screenwriting wich was awesome. We spent the first half talking about the Oscars and the second half talking about Sideways, which is so amazing. I also won a prize. I guessed the most number of Oscars in the class and won a DVD of My Date With Drew (which I had already seen, so I gave it to the second place person. See what a nice person I am? Ha.) So, all in all, a good afternoon.

I just got home from LindyGroove, which was fun tonight. I think I am starting to loosen up and not care so much what other people think of me which equals me having more fun and making friends. I probably look like an idiot, but I'm used to that so it's okay. :) So, the moral of this story is: act like an idiot and people will like you! Woo hoo!

Anyway, it is late and I have to pack, etc. for tomorrow. My next post will probably be full of exciting details from the cruise. I will post all the (appropriate) pictures here. :)
