I Walk the Line by Johnny Cash
Well, my second chapter is completed-- at least for the time being. I managed to finish it up on Friday night, and I feel so acccomplished. I have started barrelling through my third chapter and am beginning to see the end. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Woo hoo!
Thursday night was funny as hell. Nat and I went to the Press and many hijinks ensued. There are many horrible yet entertaining photos from that night, as well as some quotes. I will get the pictures up eventually and head over to Quotes Happen to check those out. Sorry if they are super-dirty. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Damn you alcohol!
My weekend has been... well, interesting. I have never felt like such a stereotypical single girl. Firday consisted of working on thesis, spending way too much money at Target, and renting several movies. It was a productive evening, but one spent entirely alone, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Yesterday, Natalie and I drove to Santa Monica to spend some time with our friend Galen. A note about Galen: he is awesome. I love him to death. With the exception of Natalie, I have never met someone that I have clicked with and felt comfortable with so immediately. It was the first time Nat and I have been to his place, and it was great. My abs actually hurt today because we spent the entire night laughing. We ate at this great Thai place called Natalee Thai. I'm not going to lie, most of the reason we chose that place it because of the name, but it ended up being great. Then, we met up with my god parents and god sister on the Third Street Promenade, which was nice. They live in Sacramento and happened to be in SM for my god mother's job, so it was good to see them. The rest of the evening was spent at the King's Head pub where Nat's friend (and mine) Blake met us for some pints. I got to see a British man's ass (which was very nice, I don't mind saying). All in all, a good night.
Today has been slow. I went to brunch and then Nat and I took a nap while watching Simpsons. I started reading articles and outlining my third chapter, which I think is going to be really interesting. Now I off to Steak Night at Mudd even though I don't eat steak. I have started eating chicken and other poultry, though, so I am officially no longer vegetarian. I have to say, I have so many more options now, though. It's amazing.
Anyway, I hope everyone else is doing well and hope you all have a great week!

P.S. I watched Walk the Line this weekend (hence the title). It's a good movie, check it out if you haven't already.
