Ultimate Frisbee Champion!

I am in a great mood. A few months ago (specifically right before thesis was due), I was feeling so down and like nothing was going right. Now, I have a job, a great apartment, fantastic friends-- everything is going right! I always did have great friends, but when everything else seems to be stagnate, you tend to loose sight of the good things going on. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Anyway, last weekend was AMAZING. Galen came up and we spent the whole weekend drinking, playing, telling stories, etc. Rachel explained to everyone what 'Getting your Gs" is, and we found out why Galen was kicked out of the state of Washington (don't joke about going to Canada). Sunday, Chris came home from Europe and we have all been hanging out all week. Life is good. Last night, Chris and I went over to Rachel's and played games with her and her friends from Russo's. Awesome girls. Love 'em. I love making new friends! I hope I see them more before I leave for LA.

Anyhoo, I have decided to ditch my Grey's Anatomy script in order to focus all my attention on my pilot. So, I am going to take a shower and head over to Starbucks for the rest of the day to work on my script. Tonight we are all playing Ultimate Frisbee at Cal State, which I am so excited about. I have never gotten to play, so I am going to loose my Ultimate Frisbee virginity tonight! :) Woo hoo!

I hope everyone else is having a good day/week/month!

Can't Sleep, Clown'll Eat Me Part II

It is 2 am and I have to actually wake up early tomorrow. 7am to be exact. I have to take my niece to summer school. I do not envy her. PE + Bakersfield in the summer (read: 105 degrees) = death. Well, not death but misery at the very least.

I am rambling. It is late and I have had a packed few days. Yesterday I drove down to LA for two job interviews. Well, one job and one internship interview. They both went fantastically. I also got to hang out with some of my very favorite people, Sarah, Blake and Galen. After my last interview, we all met for a fantastic dinner at a Thai place and then went to a really cool bar on Cahuenga (sp?). Sorry, this is boring. Anyway, I ended up being offered the job at the first interview that I had. As of July 5, I will be a fully employed person by The Broder, Webb, Chervin and Silbermann Agency. They are a literary agency that reps some of the biggest writers/producers/directors/etc. in television and film. I think, as a writer, this will be a great place for me. I even have a friend who already works there. I am totally stoked.

I apologize for this scattered and weird post. I am so tired but I absolutely cannot sleep. AHHHHH!!!! Okay, I am going to try and go to sleep.
