I love my new computer's "Photobooth" feature. Can you tell?

I have been terribly lax about updating the past few weeks, and to those of you who have been waiting on bated breath for a new post, I apologize. In lieu of writing about what I have been up to, I am just going to list the more interesting points and illustrate with pictures. In the past few weeks I have:

- Gotten to know my niece's evil twin, of whom I was previously unaware:


- Watched Chris make out with a hot guy:


- Explored my "sunny" side:


- Had surgery to fix my nose and teeth:



- Nursed Chris back to health after he had all the fat sucked out of his face:

So, yeah, these are just some of the few things I have been up to lately. :)

Everything's bigger in Texas

I am actually going back to Bakersfield today, but I am sitting in the waiting room with nothing better to do, so I thought it would update. My dad's surgery went well. He is still in ICU but will be moving into a room in a few hours. Yay! The doctors, nurses, everyone here at MD Anderson are wonderful. They are kind and extremely knowledgeable. The only pain my dad's in now is back pain, but they are working on it.

Anyway, my time here has been brief and stressful, but I will miss my parents. They should be returning to California at the end of the month, but we'll see how it goes. Until then, my mom will be in Houston by herself while my dad is in the hospital. I think some people are planning to come out and visit her, but we'll see. Please keep her and my father in your prayers.
