Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans
It seems that my moving home to Bakersfield has been firmly established. Here's the breakdown:
In March, I will start classes at Cal State LA. Speficially, I will be taking Abnormal Psychology and Elementary Statistics. In order to be able to devote the appropriate amount of time, I will have to quit my job here at Avid Exposure, which was inevitable anyway. So, I will be looking for an easy part time job and a volunteer job with a mental health facility in Pasadena (preferably).
At the end of May/beginning of June I will be moving home and taking Child Psychology and Development at Cal State Bakersfield, finding a job, an apartment, and a volunteer position with a mental health facility in Bakersfield.
Finally, in late September I will begin the Masters of Science program in Counseling Psychology at Cal State Bakersfield.
That's the timeline for now. What else happens in that timeline is yet to be seen. I will hopefully work in some travel and fun times with friends into all that madness. It will be so great to be closer to my parents and Chris and my other good Bako friends. I will miss everyone in LA and, God help me, I'm sure I will miss LA as well. But, Bako is only a few hours away (not even that), so I am sure I will be back here often.
