Free at last

The cast is gone! Hurrah!

In other exciting news, I am 99% sure I got a new job with Aegis Medical Systems, Inc. I won't start for another couple of weeks, but I will let you know how it goes. Basically, I will be a case manager, which is very close to being an actual counselor, so that's what I am thrilled about.

It's a cast and an accessory!

So, some of you may be wondering what happened. Basically, the short version is: I was washing my knife after making dinner, it slipped, severed the tendon above my right index finger knuckle, I had to have surgery, and now I have a damn cast for three weeks. No pain, but I can't write at all and typing is very difficult, so therefore school is very difficult. But otherwise, I am fine. Here's a picture from class the other night that my friend Rick took. I do not look happy.



So, there ya go. I put off writing this for about two weeks because of the aforementioned typing impairment. :)
